The Passage by J. Cronin

I've been reading all summer, but I thought I would blog about this book. I always tell my kids that I just hate vampire books - including the Stephanie Meyers books- so it's funny that I got hooked on this story before I new the virus that was going to kill half the world was basically a vampire virus!The book has been really well described as a cross between Cormac McCartny's The Road and Stephen King's The Stand, and it's a big fat beach read. Where's the beach?
