In this book the brunette lives happily until this french girl comes into the school and is a big competition to the blond then the brunette becomes sad becaus she thought at first the reason she isn't so pretty is becaus she isn't a blondy but then she things it is because she isn't from some forign country. I'm sad to see such a great series end. I'm still not finished with the book but its really great so far! I want to know what happens in the end, I just cant stop reading it. It has a lot of violence and very gruesome, but to me its my favorite series. From the Hungar Games to the rebellion Katniss turned into the Mockingjay.

Please Stop Laughing at Me is about a girl who got bullied at school. Her parents didn't want to change her from a new school because they thought she was running away from her problems. So the young girl got punched, kicked, spit on, and always made fun of. After a few months her parents decided to change her to a new school. When she went everything started out great, she was popular and voted one of the most prettiest girls at that school. Later she was tested to see if she could keep a secret about her friends making out. She freaked out and told the parents what had happened. When they found out she told the same thing happened to her she was the laughing stock at the school. She came home with bruises on the face she told her parents she was thrown into the street.Her parents later sent her to a different school but the same thing seemed to follow her but when she went back to the school reunion everyone seemed to want to be her friend again. I recommend this book because it shows you how bullying really hurts someone and how long it takes them to recover.

The book I'm reading is really awesome its called Dead, so far its about a school that a girl died and they say she is a zombie that appears out of nowhere. I recommend you to read its really awesome!!:p

This book is about 4 kids who are in a trip with their parents.While they were on the road they see a nice lake and the kids wanted to have lunch by the lake.When they get to the little cabin they had the lake was near the little cabin.The kids go to the lake and discover a magical world with mermaids an more creatures.

I checked out a cookbook at the library a while a go. it had simple but good recipes. i did not get to try out many but i tried out the chocolate banana's. they were pretty good. not colorless like other fancy food. this book had big text so you didn't have to squint to read. it also had facts from teens who made the book it was interesting to me and some of my friends liked its easy and fast to me.

So Far From The Bamboo Grove by Yoko Kawashima Watkins

This book was really interesting. It was about how Yoko, her sister Ko, and their mom made their way back to Japan near the end of World War Two. They lived in Korea, but it was too dangerous to stay there, so that's why they went to Japan. They were going to stay with their grandparents, but they found out that they were already dead. That same day their mother died on Yoko's lap. The sisters somehow managed to survive a couple months until their brother, Hideyo finally made it to where they were.
I thought this was a cool book because it was written by the main character of the story. The saddest part was when her mom died right on her. I couldn't imagine that happening to me it would be really sad. If you want to now like what they lived through during World War Two, this would be a perfect book. I sort of pictured the story in my head and for some reason I found it entertaining. It actually was not boring. When I think about a book that talks about history, I think it will be the worst book ever. Luckily, I took a chance on this book, maybe you should too. ;)

Nobody Owens grows up to be a nice, young boy who is eager to go to school and he knows a lot about the supernatural world, but the truth is that Nobody Owens can not walk outside the graveyard's gates because the possibility of the Man Jack killing him is always there, and as a result, Nobody can not go to school, instead he is taught about things by the ghosts. I am not going to reveal the ending, you must be the one to know what will happen to Nobody Owens when he grows up and turns fifteen.

How I Changed My Life by: Todd Strasser

This book is mainly about being who your not, and the challenges that come with it. Bolita Vine (Bo for short) decides it's time for a change, and she wants people to notice her. But is she taking it too far? She looses weight, puts on a little make-up, and even starts talking to people. Pretty soon she not such a misfit. She even has Kyle Winthrop's (Time Zone High's star quarterback) attention, at least as a friend. But now she thinks it's time to take their relationship a step farther.

Personally i did not enjoy reading this book. When you make small changes that you know need to be fixed is good, but not if you go to far with it. When you start acting like someone else it makes you look like you try to hard instead of being yourself, just like the main character in this book did. So if you happen to see this book i would not recommend it, unless you are trying to do the same thing you can see how it doesn't work.

Fruit basket is a great series. there are several books, i think there are about 24 books. its been 3 days and i am already in the 7th book.you should know that this series is a aname type of series(somewhat like a comic book) and of course that is why there are lots of books.it's a really good story it's about a high school girl who's parents died and she was going to live with her grandfather but she recomended to do some remodeling and they did so that girl, Tohru ,was staying at her friends'/protectors' house or as they thought. Tohru sleeps under a tent in the forest while her grandfather and family think she is staying in her friends' house and her friends think she is in her grandfather's house .but finally Yuki Sohma (in school AKA prince charming )finds out she's living there then invites her into his house when he's cousin crashes in she learns a terrible secret.she learns that the Sohma family is possesed by the Sodiac symbols whenever a member from the opposite sex hugs them they transform into the symbol they are .so she needs to do her best and break the curse.

Esperanzas Rising

This is very nice but its really sad too.This book is about a 12 year old girl who lived in Mexico .She was really rich.She had tons of lands.Esperanza had the best dresses in Mexico and had servants and more.Till her birthday came and everybody was happy till they saw that their house was in fire!! in the same day of Esperanza birthday.Now Esperanza and her mom have to work in plantations and live through the hard time they are passing through.I really liked this book it shows that you have to appreciate what you have.

Hunger Games series

I started the third book yesterday. I think the second book was better than the first, and hope the third, Mockingjay, is as compelling. What continues to amaze me is the brutality of the society depicted in the series, and the courage the characters respond with. There are echoes of Brave New World, The Giver, and other dystopian novels that just give me chills.Who's read it?

I like this book so far. I am in the middle of it and I am already interested. It is about two foster kids trying to get enough money to run away because they are tired of families not wanting them. They finally come across a family that will always try to make them happy no matter what is being said or what mood they are giving off. This book s funny and sad. This book shows off a lot of dedication and love. I recommend this book to anyone who likes books about foster families.

Marked is the first book in The House Of Night series. It is a book about a high school girl who is changed into a vampire and has to move out of her home and into the House Of Night. She experiences odd things there and must save her school. I don't want to give it away so I'm just going to say it's very good and I reccomend people read it.

Hunger Games

I see why this book has been such a sensation. It's brutal in it's concept- that a society would sacrifice its young people in a cross between a Roman gladiator spectacle and a modern reality show. On top of that , the action is brutal. The hero, having survived a night in the very top branches of a tree, a really evocative section , has to saw through the stem of a nest of mutant wasps in order to scatter her pursuers, who are camped at the base of the tree. It's her first kill, and she has to retrieve her bow from the a bloated corpse.

I'm assuming that - if she is to be a hero -she's going to co-opt the games somehow. Keep you posted!

This book is about an 11 year old girl named Pecola who has a very difficult life. She always thought her life would be better if she was white and had blue eyes.Her father, Cholly, is very violent because he went through many early humiliations and takes out his anger on the women in his life. Her mother, Pauline, thinks she is ugly which made her cold and lonely. So she went to live with the MacTeers. The daughters feel sorry for her, but are nice to her. There are many challenges especially with her parents. She went to a soaphead church and asked the sham mytic for blue eyes, but instead he made her kill a dog. When Cholly runs away, he soon dies in a workhouse. Pecola goes made and thinks her wish has been fulfilled and she then thinks she has the bluest eyes.
This book was sometimes confusing in the middle. It was entertaining though... Somehow in the end it just ties together and I understood it. For the most part it was very sad. To think that someone around my age could go through so much stuff in a couple years is scary to think. That is why I'm happy that this book doesn't really have anything in common with me, which is good :)

He runs away and went outside. He was made to defeat evil villain. I liked the part when principal changed to Captain Underpants.

This book is about a fairy named Rani shes a water talent fairy.But Rani is the only fairy who dosent have wings in Pixie Hallow.Now she feels that she dosent belong in Pixie Hallow!!. Then it came to this celebration that all water talent fairies have to do a water fountain and dance around it but flying.And Rani cries because she cant fly and his helper Brother Dove wich is a bird.Its to big and can ruin the water fountain.Then Rani brings Brother Dove so Rani could do the dance with the other fairies.But she did something wrong that it resulted that the water fountain was ruined!!!!.Now Rani feels really bad and decides to leave Pixie Hallow and she goes to this Mermaid Lagoon.Now Rani learns how to breathe under water .She gets to viist the mermaids beutiful castle.Plus the mermaids fix her hair and dress her up.But Rani dosent quite fit in with the mermaids , either.So just where does she belong?

So then the 5 added Bobby to thier group and became the smart team. Now I can't say the ending you will have to find it out yourself just kidding. So THen the police finds out And the kids try too get rid of it and then they throw it into the Grand Canyon And the police found out they did that they had to clean the whole mess up. Y read the book hatchet its a very good book its about a kid named brain who was going to visit his father.he was going on a propeller airplane with a pilot.before he left his mom gave him a hatchet.on his way there the pilot was showing brain how the airplane works and how to handle it.on there way there the pilot had a heart attack brain tries to handle the airplane but he was not able to.the plane crashed in a lake the pilot died but brain survived by kicking off the front glass. he had to survive in a forest for 52 days with only hatchet.he got rescued after all those days. would you had make it with just one hatchet.

Dog Lost is about a town trying to get rid of all the pit bulls because they thought they were dangerous. Then there was this one pit bull who saves the day. Her name was Cash and she saved about 8 people in the town. Cash belonged to Mackenzie,but his dad threw her on the streets. In the end a boy was drowning while he was trying to catch Cash for his dog fighting games,and while Cash was running he fell in a big hole in an abandoned building and started to drown and Cash saved him and Mackenzie, who ran to the building just knowing his beloved dog was there,and started to to help out,but he fell in too. They went home and instead of living with Mackenzie's dad,he goes to live with his brother,Kid, that ran away long time ago and promised to come back for Mackenzie.
I loved this book!!! I've honestly only read less than 10 chapter books,but out of the 10 books, Dog Lost has to be my favorite. I like dogs a lot so when his dad brutally took Cash and drove her to the middle of nowhere and just threw her out I was really sad. It was sad,but also very happy when Cash and Mackenzie re-unite. The most amazing thing I thought was that this is actually a true story! I would really recommend this book to people who like dogs and heart warming stories. This book was especially sad because just a few weeks ago my neighbors and I saved a pit bull named Diamond next door to my house. Not going to say any details because it is just so sad,but that's pretty much all I have to say about this amazing true story called Dog Lost.

Beastly is a very good book I read about four times, two years ago. This book is about a high school boy who's...well he's got a horrible personality and is (unkowingly) disliked by everyone. One night, at a school dance, he is changed into a beast by some weirdo witch that attended his school. His father sends him away to hide him from the world afterwards. He finds his true love while hiding there. After he finds her, she changes him back by kissing him. (Which, of course, you would expect in any story like this one.) Anyways, they got married (I think) and lived happily ever after.
I really think people should read this book. I know it seems kinda boring or bad in this blog, but it's good trust me.
