Esperanzas Rising

This is very nice but its really sad too.This book is about a 12 year old girl who lived in Mexico .She was really rich.She had tons of lands.Esperanza had the best dresses in Mexico and had servants and more.Till her birthday came and everybody was happy till they saw that their house was in fire!! in the same day of Esperanza birthday.Now Esperanza and her mom have to work in plantations and live through the hard time they are passing through.I really liked this book it shows that you have to appreciate what you have.

Hunger Games series

I started the third book yesterday. I think the second book was better than the first, and hope the third, Mockingjay, is as compelling. What continues to amaze me is the brutality of the society depicted in the series, and the courage the characters respond with. There are echoes of Brave New World, The Giver, and other dystopian novels that just give me chills.Who's read it?

I like this book so far. I am in the middle of it and I am already interested. It is about two foster kids trying to get enough money to run away because they are tired of families not wanting them. They finally come across a family that will always try to make them happy no matter what is being said or what mood they are giving off. This book s funny and sad. This book shows off a lot of dedication and love. I recommend this book to anyone who likes books about foster families.

Marked is the first book in The House Of Night series. It is a book about a high school girl who is changed into a vampire and has to move out of her home and into the House Of Night. She experiences odd things there and must save her school. I don't want to give it away so I'm just going to say it's very good and I reccomend people read it.

This book was good because it is funny and people can relate to it. It is about a boy named Greg who gets picked on by his older brother Rodrick. In one of the parts Rodrick has to pick up Greg from school and makes him ride in the back of the van with all of the band equipment.

Right now I m in the middle of reading I Know What You Did Last Summer. It is a very suspenseful book and i love it so far. It is very thrilling. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading mystery books. Few know this but, the book I am reading is a true story based on what happened to Lois Duncan's daughter.

A group of teenagers have an unforgettable summer. All of them want to forget what happend but it will be stuck in there minds forever. When they find a letter, it brings back horrible memories, and they can not escape them!

Hunger Games

I see why this book has been such a sensation. It's brutal in it's concept- that a society would sacrifice its young people in a cross between a Roman gladiator spectacle and a modern reality show. On top of that , the action is brutal. The hero, having survived a night in the very top branches of a tree, a really evocative section , has to saw through the stem of a nest of mutant wasps in order to scatter her pursuers, who are camped at the base of the tree. It's her first kill, and she has to retrieve her bow from the a bloated corpse.

I'm assuming that - if she is to be a hero -she's going to co-opt the games somehow. Keep you posted!

But the wierdest part came after the show... Suddenly his days as a human were over. His nights as a vimpire's assistant had begun.

This book was a funny book about a kid named Greg he is in summer vacation and wants to raise money to go somewhere. He decides to do some yard work with his best frind Rowley and charge them.He went with Rowley and his parents but he had to sleep in the same bed and they had problems.This story was hilarious but i cant tell you more so you should read it its awesome.

The man said he was going to Ipswich , which was a few miles away so they told him that to get in the car . Jacob's dad asked him what his name was ..... he said Rellik . Jacob wasn't very sure about his dad picking some stranger up . He saw the man word .......... ''I'm gonna kill you" . Jacob got scared . later he wrote rellik on the window and saw that it said killer . when he tried telling his parent he couldn't . Jacob pushed rellik out and he was gone . thats why i think its a really good story .

This book is about an 11 year old girl named Pecola who has a very difficult life. She always thought her life would be better if she was white and had blue eyes.Her father, Cholly, is very violent because he went through many early humiliations and takes out his anger on the women in his life. Her mother, Pauline, thinks she is ugly which made her cold and lonely. So she went to live with the MacTeers. The daughters feel sorry for her, but are nice to her. There are many challenges especially with her parents. She went to a soaphead church and asked the sham mytic for blue eyes, but instead he made her kill a dog. When Cholly runs away, he soon dies in a workhouse. Pecola goes made and thinks her wish has been fulfilled and she then thinks she has the bluest eyes.
This book was sometimes confusing in the middle. It was entertaining though... Somehow in the end it just ties together and I understood it. For the most part it was very sad. To think that someone around my age could go through so much stuff in a couple years is scary to think. That is why I'm happy that this book doesn't really have anything in common with me, which is good :)

The story begins when Greg is trying to make people to try to be a better person like his mom is eating chips and he tells her to work on eating chips more quietly.Manny greg's little brother throws away his binkie to be more manly in front of his mom and dad but 5 secounds later he gets his binkie out of the trash.Rowley and his katate friends sleep over and so does greg but at night rowleys other friends pull pranks on him all night later in the book greg meets Holly Hills greg has liked her since 6th grade but I don't think holly has the same feelings for him because at the end of the book.Holly writes greg at letter saying that's he's okay but she puts in the letter saying she doesn't like him,she also writes rowley a letter saying that he is cute and funny so greg is mad and jealous that rowley stole his girl.Greg is not in the mood for anything until a new girl moves into the neighborhood and greg already has plans for him and her and doesn't want rowley to mess everything up like he did with holl hills.

This story is very thrilling.A girl moves in from Chicago to Malibu .She notice one day the sky is very dark and green .Her family does not even worry about anything .So one of those days the girl noticed that the waves were really high and that they were coming there way. Suddenly everyone stared running and she felt that there was going to be a storm.Then a big hurricane came to there way .If you want to know more you will have to read this book.its full of adventure !!!

This book is very interesting. I really like it its about a boy and his family that went to a historical museum and that boy thought it was boring. Then he went to the restroom ,but the little brother went to another room and the boy went for him. The boy sat down on a chair and click a button , that button took the boy to the future. He saw all his life and saw himself and his brother arguing and he felt bad.When he came back to the present he tried to stated over with his life , and try not to argued again.

My book is about three girls named angelgirl,zoegirl,and madmaddie and it contains friendship comedy and a little romance and as you see these girls love to IM each other which explains the email names but their real names are Angelica, Zoe, and Maddie and its about three best friends who are in their Junior year and their tired of their same old life routine so they decide to go on vacation with just the three of them to Cumber Island but in order to do that they need to go through boyfriends, friendship and, they are not afraid to take risks. This book is very funny story. Two boys name George and Henry writes a comic book.It was about Captain Underpants. Then the comic book was a hit in school, but the principal was mad. He hates kids, especially the kid who smile. All the kids hate principal, so George and Henry hypnotize the principal. Then he changed to Captain Underpants. Both laugh at him. He runs away and went outside. He was made to defeat evil villain. I liked the part when principal changed to Captain Underpants.

I really like this book because its so mysterious and full of detail.I think if anyone reads this book they will enjoy it a lot.

This book is about a fairy named Rani shes a water talent fairy.But Rani is the only fairy who dosent have wings in Pixie Hallow.Now she feels that she dosent belong in Pixie Hallow!!. Then it came to this celebration that all water talent fairies have to do a water fountain and dance around it but flying.And Rani cries because she cant fly and his helper Brother Dove wich is a bird.Its to big and can ruin the water fountain.Then Rani brings Brother Dove so Rani could do the dance with the other fairies.But she did something wrong that it resulted that the water fountain was ruined!!!!.Now Rani feels really bad and decides to leave Pixie Hallow and she goes to this Mermaid Lagoon.Now Rani learns how to breathe under water .She gets to viist the mermaids beutiful castle.Plus the mermaids fix her hair and dress her up.But Rani dosent quite fit in with the mermaids , either.So just where does she belong?

This book is about 5 kids that didn't get any A's, B's, or C's they only got D's and F's in their classes. There was one one very smart kid in the class and his name was Bobby. The 5 other kids were Kevin, Sammantha, Kattie, Doucan, and Katherin. So one day the 5 kids found out about Bobby's new invention THE HOMEWORK MACHINE he was so smart he build one and it works!!! So then the 5 added Bobby to thier group and became the smart team. Now I can't say the ending you will have to find it out yourself just kidding. So THen the police finds out And the kids try too get rid of it and then they throw it into the Grand Canyon And the police found out they did that they had to clean the whole mess up.
